VISCERA 2008-2009 brings together the work of 12 women horror filmmakers, creating over an hours worth of nine short films ranging from 30 seconds to 20 minutes.

With the role of women in the horror filmmaking business changing from victims in front of the lens to creators behind it, a new film festival aims to help bridge the gender divide, one bloody short at a time.-Rue Morgue

Don't Lose Heart - Talieysn Brown 16:04 minutes
Description: First came the news reports: a virus, a plague, terrorism-they pointed fingers at everything except the truth. Then the TV stopped and the power and water ran out. Finally the only thing broadcasting is a BBC "10 Point Emergency Plan." Outdated and crackly, but at least it's a voice in the darkness. Two months later, Lucy, bordering on malnutrition, is running out of water.
