 | Get slaughtered by Caroline Pierce! |

Welcome
my chainsaw fiends to another edition of Carnal Cadaverous. Within the
bloody intestines of number eleven we have an interview with the hottie
Caroline Pierce. Caroline has been in..well besides a lot of porn..the
classic of macabre erotica Slaughterdisc and Tales From the Carnal Morgue.
We also have an analysis of the film You're Next 3: Pajama Party Massacre. Read on freaks....
Necro: Are their any current projects you are working on you wish to mention?
Caroline: I
don't like to count my chickens before they hatch, so the projects that
are on the back burner I will just leave there for now. I did just
shoot another Benny Profane movie, and have plans to go back out to
Score Media to shoot a few more magazine layouts. I also recently
signed up with a niche company that shoots pretty-girl-dying scenes and
custom scenarios. I have only done a few test shoots for them yet, but
I have done this style of modeling before and always had a blast doing
it, so I am looking forward to working with them. (www. dark-fantasies.
com)
Necro: Will you continue in the adult film industry (200 + films under your belt) or will you focus more on horror film?
Caroline:
I focus on whatever I get hired for. I have been making adult films
since 1997 (1996 if you want to get really technical lol). Granted, I
don't grind out 25 scenes a month like some girls, there have been
times when that is all I do in a year, but the adult movies are fun and
not a bad way to earn a living.
If there were more horror projects to work on I certainly would love to
be involved in them more frequently, but that just isn't the case. And
"work" being a relative term, a lot of the indie no-budget horror you
work on spec or for free.
Necro: You
have a great deal of experience in the fetish culture. Are you
continuing with this as well? Do you have any fetishes you would like
to reveal?

Caroline:
Of course I will continue with fetish work. It is my bread and butter
really. I don't do as much extreme stuff as I used to but I still shoot
quite a bit of foot fetish, with the occasional smothering shoot thown
in, and I make a yearly trek to Fetish Con in Tampa and shoot various
damsel-in-distress, super heroine, bdsm shoots as well. As for
personal fetishes, feet and shoes, and tight laced corsets. No real
revelation there though, give me half a minute and I will start
blabbing incessantly about feet and shoes lol. And I regularly attend
the Las Vegas FootNight foot fetish parties
Necro: What has been your most frightening experience while working in the adult film industry?
Caroline:
Hmmm, I don't think I have an interesting answer to that. My first
reaction was to remark on the sheer idiocy of many of the people
involved in this industry.
Necro:
Andromeda Strange is a strong feminine character. Do you feel the role
of women in horror, and porn for that matter, is getting stronger?

Caroline:
Yes, I think that there are more strong female characters nowadays.
There will always be an apatite for weaker damsel-in-distress type
characterized women, but there are more ass kicking/take control women
being portrayed too. And, in adult, there are a lot more women
producers/directors now, making names for themselves as something other
than performers.
Necro: What are your thoughts on the horror/porn film crossover that is occurring?
Caroline: It's about time! ...
Necro: What are your thoughts on the influence, if any, sex and violence in horror film has on the consciousness of America?
Caroline: Well,
I do agree that people are desensitized to choreographed violent images
nowadays, but most of us aren't disturbed because we know it is all
fake, and that is why we can look at stage blood covered corpses and
derive entertainment from it. Images of real death and destruction are
fascinating and mentally stimulating but not "entertainment", I am not,
nor are most folks I have met, desensitized to them. You asked about
sex in horror films, but I do know that sex in adult films has seemed
to change the way this younger porn watching generation fucks.
Necro:
Have any of your lovers ever asked you to perform as Andromeda in bed?
Has playing the character had any negative effects on your personal
life?
Caroline: ROFL, no and no.
Necro: Do you foresee Andromeda Strange appearing on film again, and if so where do you see her next logical cinematic step would be?

Caroline:
Steel Web Studios has always had the intentions of having Andromeda
appear again in a film, but when and doing what I have no idea.
Hopefully there will be more girls involved next time, perhaps a blood
soaked orgy with mass slaying at the climactic end, that would be fun!
But as for the mythology of her sending out her DVD and ensnaring
people that way, I guess the next logical step would be she starts
ensnaring through a web cam site perhaps, something like that.
Necro: Do you own the grim reaper dildo used in Slaughter Disc? How was Death as a lover compared to “normal” ones?

Caroline: Heh-heh, no that is not actually mine ,
not that it is going to be used again by anyone but me, but it is with
the rest of Andromeda's signature item's like her cape and boots.
Honestly I am not one for the textured toys like that, they can be a
little uncomfortable, though Grim was fine; other have been more
unfriendly, I have distinct memories of a toy shaped like a
Triceratops...don't ask.. lol
Necro: How did you originally connect with David Quitmeyer?

Caroline:
The One Model Place website, he was looking for actresses for an erotic
horror and I of course responded and said ME ME ME ME ME please pick ME!
Necro:
You are always asked what your favorite horror films are so I will
detour the question somewhat. What horror films have you seen recently
that may be added to your favorite list?
Caroline:
I just watched Gris Grimley's Cannibal Flesh Riot! and it was so much
fun! I highly recommend it; campy and artistic and just wonderful,
awesome music too. It is so great to see someone make a vision like
that come to fruition and by doing it with just talent, dedication and
a tiny budget It was rather motivational actually lol.
Necro: Are their any actors/actresses in the horror genre you wish you could act with? Now this could be in an erotic manner also.
Caroline:
I don't think that specifically, like "Wow I wish I could be in a movie
with so-and-so", I would really like to be working on any movie at all
lol, cause that means I am at least doing something. Of course, I would
dearly love to be chased down by all of the new and old classic horror
bad guys and then trip, fall, scream loudly, not get up in time and be
slaughtered. That isn't really acting with specific actors I know, but
damn that would be amazing!
Necro: If you could sleep with any horror film fictional character (either as Caroline or Andromeda) who would that be?
Caroline:
Good god, where to start? Of course the sick fucker in me wants to have
sex with (almost) every single Cenobyte there is lol, and I imagine
Andromeda would fit right in with them. Dracula and his wives would be
a nice romp too. And Melinda Clark in Return of the Living Dead 3 is
the hottest zombie ever, hands down.

Necro: What are your ultimate aspirations in cinema, your dream role would be?
Caroline:
I would love to play a psychopath or schizophrenic, insane asylum and
straight jackets, etc. I think playing someone insane and unstable
would be very therapeutic, difficult but a great way to vent.
Necro: Do you collect anything in particular and if so, what is your prize possession? Do you have any major hobbies?
Caroline: Not
so much into the hobbies right now, I used to be a big SCA-er (medieval
recreation group) but haven't been active in years. I am pen-and-paper
RPG player, and I collect dice, lots and lots of dice, and I still need
more! I collect other various things like Alice in Wonderland
memorabilia and aprons and tiaras (of which I of course wear with the
aprons), but nothing comes to mind as a prized possession. I don't
usually go after the big money or rare items that I drool over.
Necro:
You have said that you love Japanese anything, and are learning the
language. How is that going? Do you plan on traveling to Japan and if
so, what do you dream of doing there?
Caroline:
I have been there 6 times so far, and am quite rusty in my Japanese
because I have no one to practice with and fall out of habit of
practicing my alphabets so reading is sloooooow going if I can even
figure it out. I used to go and shoot adult there, but their porn
industry is as saturated as ours which ends up hurting everyone as a
whole. I had one Japanese friend who was trying to get a horrorporn
together with an American cast shot in Japan but that, like most indie
projects that require backing, has been put on the back burner
indefinitely. But what do I dream of doing over there? Well, if we are
talking dreams, I would like to be able to fly over every few months or
so and take an immersion language course while staying in my apartment
that the "dream me" can afford lol.
Necro: What do you have planned for Halloween 2008?

Caroline:
Nothing but hanging with my sister's kiddos. Not a going out into a
crowd kinda person. I still get pissed off that I am considered too old
to go trick-or-treating.
Necro:
Two part question. You were in two of the three films in Tales From the
Carnal Morgue; Mail Order Bride and Sustenance. Both had some culinary
aspects to them. Do you feel that humans really need paprika? What the
hell was that meat you ate in Sustenance?

Caroline: To
funny! No, I don't think people would taste good raw or cooked
regardless of the seasoning unless of course they were fed a better
diet LOL (though when I cook non-humans I am definitely a paprika
user). Dave Quitmeyer was the artist behind the gross meat product for
Sustenance..... but it didn't actually taste bad. The regular meat was
ground beef, the rotten meat was.... that might be Dave's secret rotten
meat recipe, I will have to check lol.
Necro: Do you think their will ever be the sexual technology of the PC 2000?

Caroline: Probably, people will go to great lengths for sexual stimulation. Hopefully they will be a little more fool proof though.
Necro: Who is your favorite horror author and/or horror comic book?
Caroline:
Clive Barker, I really enjoy his writing style and brand of horror. I
enjoy the stories he tells and the worlds he creates. I have most of
the Hellraiser comics, which I know aren't written by Clive but in the
world he created; it is interesting to see other writers and artists
interpret that concept and make their own images and stories. I am also
a huge Poppy Z. Brite fan, she writes very vivid personalities and
surroundings, a delight to read.

Necro: What’s in the future for Caroline Pierce?
Caroline:
Well, for specifics I have a magazine shoot later this week and my
first 3-D porn. Everything else is vague and up in the air so I won't
jinx myself lol.
Carnal Cadaverous and The Chainsaw Mafia would
like to thank Caroline Pierce for taking the time to visit our crimson
stained chambers....We know the blood will not come off...

Welcome to Cadaverous Cinema

Within
this edition of Cadaverous Cinema, we shall be eroticized into just how
hot eating ice cream in lingerie really is...Welcome my fiends to the
film You're Next 3: Pajama Party Massacre
The slumber party paradigm within the horror genre found its greatest
expression within the Reagan era of America. Classics such as Slumber
Party Massacre series, interestingly enough written by
feminist-activist Rita Mae Brown, will forever be imprinted upon the
group consciousness of young adults. The slumber party theme, as
expressed visually in horror film, has deep rooted psychological
significance. Viewed superficially, one may be quick to judge its
cinematic worth as one lacking in depth of plot or originality in terms
of killer. A madman stalks, terrorizes, and slaughters a group of
unaware teenagers, a progression that does not hold much depth in terms
of epic storytelling. To a degree, its simplicity aptly represents what
golden age horror should be in terms of, at least one, purpose of
entertainment. It is a visual expression allowing escapism from the
terrors of real world horrors. The simplicity of killer stalks slumber
party represents the often too real horror of what is directly within
our proximity.
The symbolism of slumber party horror represents
innocence attacked by two opposing factors. On a more macro level it,
like the entirety of horror itself, represents external adversaries
obtaining ingress into the safety of ones personal space. On a more
psychological level, the slumber party horror theme symbolizes the more
internal effects of the infection of various external factors. The
often masculine adversary invading the mostly feminine gendered slumber
party is symbolic of typical patriarchal repression, abuse, and neglect
of the sociological significance of the feminine and matriarchal role.
The newest entry into slumber party horror is that of You’re Next:
Pajama Party Massacre. The film arises from the independent horror
company Not For The Squeamish Productions, or NFTS abbreviated.

NFTS
is a Minnesota based independent horror company producing such films as
Doomed To Consume, The Locksmith, and Off The Beaten Path. You’re Next
3: Pajama Party Massacre is a short film running only 25 minutes. It is
the third in a trilogy of short films. The first two, You’re Next 1-2,
being experimental attempts by the filmmaker.
Written by Dustin
Lavalley and genre veteran Joe Kneeter and directed by Jason
Stephenson, Pajama Party Massacre is a quintessential homage to slasher
films of the 1980’s. Everything about this film screams of a
retroversion unto the 1980’s. From its film grade and cinematography,
to its campy dialogue, overt gratuitous nudity (a first for NFTS) and
props, Pajama Party Massacre brings one back to an era predating CGI
and over the top budgets for horror. The film, like many low budget
B-Movies, has room for criticism for each of those things that yet make
the film stand out. With independent horror there is a need for viewers
and fans to adopt the all too familiar suspension of disbelief to fully
appreciate the experience. The flaws in the film then re-manifest as
its strengths, making campy Ed Woodian natures stronger under the
microscope of cinematic Darwinism. A synopsis would be an
exercise in redundancy as the plot is expressed in the films title. An
unknown villain stalks and attacks the pajama party of two, in this
case obviously not so innocent, women.

The film is ripe with sexual tension and eroticism as beautifully
portrayed by the films two female prey Elske McCain and Scarlet Salem.
Both Elske and Scarlet are veteran Tromettes of the month for the Troma
camp and enflesh everything a scream queen should represent.
What
makes the film worth every minute taken from your life during the
viewing is the opening ice cream scene between Elske and Scarlet. They
both bring a new enlightenment to the eroticism of frozen food
consumption. It is in no way an allegory to the frigidity of sexual
morality and horror.

Elske McCain is no stranger to the independent horror genre. She has
appeared in The Goat Sucker, Gimme Skelter, and Jessicka Rabid. Elske,
as well as her character of Christine in the film, holds an air of
defiance and feminine strength. Christine goes out with a fight,
something that is a reflection of Elske McCain in real life.

Pajama Party Massacre is the first feature film of miss Scarlet Salem
and certainly not her last. Her natural beauty, blonde hair, and pale
flesh are the perfect combination for horror. Scarlet in black lingerie
alone is worth the price of admission. The predator of the film,
simply credited as “axe wielding madman”, is played by Joe Knetter who
also starred in Doomed To Consume and the cult classic August
Underground (as himself).

Joe
wields an improvised saw blade tool known as the “bitch slicer”.
Although not uttering much dialogue in the short, his physical presence
fit’s the formula of masculine oppression. His lack of dialogue is
suggestive of the psychopathology of authentic madmen. That and it
keeps the viewer from being distracted from Elske and Scarlet, not that
that actually is possible. The films ending sequence has Knetter’s
character indulging in a bit of off screen necrophilia with Scarlet
Salem, and there is nothing wrong with that! Of course those who know
me will not be surprised by that comment…
You're Next 3: Pajama Party Massacre is
a very short film but that does not take away from its worth. It is an
entertaining piece to watch, especially for Elske and Scarlet in
lingerie. Besides, as a short film it does not take long for one to get
aroused by Elske and Scarlet in lingerie anyway..Go buy this film!
