TCM: What projects are you working on currently?

SS: I am currently working on a few! Merle Productions “Trinity”, Roflak Studios “Resist Evil Part 3”, Regan Redding “Killer Biker Chicks”, and many more in the works!!

TCM: was the genesis of the name “Scarlet Salem”?

SS: Considering I’m a huge horror movie fan, I wanted to find a name that fit in with the horror genre. Scarlet takes after a dark reddish coffin color and Salem takes after Massachusetts, the infamous witch trials and killings. Cant get any better than that!! Hehe!

TCM: You are Tromette of the month for December 2007. What career implications do you feel this will have with involvement with Troma?

SS: Just being affiliated with Troma is a huge opportunity! When people hear I’m a tromette of the month they just love that! Being a Tromette you help promote and get people excited about the company and with hot women, it doesn’t take much!! I’ve actually been in a few films with Lloyd himself, too! Mike Etolls, “Klownboy” that will be finished soon and his other film, “Clown Museum of the Damned” that is also in the editing process. So its actually very exciting!

TCM: You’re Next: Pajama Party Massacre is your first full film. How did you get involved with the project?

SS: At the time I was only modeling. I’ve always been into acting and modeling is the same thing, just with stills. Anyways, one day I went online and I looked up horror projects in MN and NFTS Productions popped up on screen. I contacted them and they let me know a film they were doing. We met up, liked eachother and went from there!! I’m so glad PPM was my first project just because these guys are so professional, they made it a breeze for me! TCM: How much creative input did you have in your character? How much Salem is in her?

SS: I would say 75% of Salem was in my character for PPM. It wouldn’t be right any other way!! Haha!

TCM: What would be your dream role in film?

SS: My dream role would be anything to do with me kicking ass!!!

TCM: What are you thoughts on doing nudity in film? Not doing it can often hinder roles.

SS: In one of my upcoming films I have nudity in it, “Trinity”. I am fine with it if it pertains to the story and is meant to be. If its porn like count me out. I feel implied is better, it gets more people excited and wanting more!!

TCM: What originally attracted you to horror?

SS: Well, when I was about 5-6 my grandma had my sis and I watch “Childs Play” and from then on I’ve been a huge fan of horror. I’ve always been on the dark side so I like to stick with what I love!

TCM: What can you tell us about your involvement in the upcoming flick Jonathan Moody’s Plan B From Outer Space?

SS: Honestly I cant say much because the film was postponed. But I can tell you I am supposed to be one of the sexy aliens. If the film takes off, it should be a great one!

TCM: You also model. What has been the best shoot you have done so far?

SS: The photographer I use is a realist and a female! We work very well together and are both very creative. We did this one shoot where we went into an abandoned old house and did like a “Crazy Girl” shoot. I played a girl who pretty much got out of a psyc word and was going nuts in this house… its really cool!!

TCM: What are your aspirations in regard to modeling? Where would you like to see your flesh displayed in or on?

SS: I would love to be in playboy, hehe!! But honestly, I am concentrating on film at this point. Modeling is just busy work for me. Between films, I like to model, it keep me going and grounded!

TCM: What models and actresses inspire you the most and why?

SS: I would have to say ELVIRA! She is my inspiration. Why? Just look at here and there’s your answer, haha!

TCM: If you could spend the night (insert possible sexual implications here) with any horror icon and horror fictional character, who would they be?

SS: Hmmmmm, that’s tough! I would spend the night with Toxie
baby!!!!

TCM: You did some theatrical work with the band IMPALER. Can
you fill in the details?

TCM: Standard question, what are your top 5 horror films and why?

SS: Top 5 are Day and Dawn of the Dead, Hellraiser, The Descent, and Pet Semetary, oh and one more… Evil dead. Why? Cause they kick ass!!

TCM: Besides being obsessed with horror and gore, what else do you do for fun?

SS: I love metal concerts, working out, being a vegetarian, hanging out with friends, cemetaries and very old haunted buildings, you know the typical stuff and girl would like…. Muhahahah!!

TCM: Tell us about your involvement in Robert Monson’s Afterbirth?

SS: I pretty much play a girl who is a submissive to her overbearing friend, Lucretia. I just get slapped and thrown around, pretty sweet!

TCM: What has been the strangest experience so far with your involvement in the horror genre?

SS: Working with all these crazy people… I love you guys!!!!

TCM: What do you have planned for Halloween 2008?

SS: My wedding, hehe! Just kidding, nothing set yet, but possibly some horror conventions, concerts, conjuring spirits, ghost hunting, the usual!!
