 | Carnal Cadaverous: The Cannibal Hooker Edition! |
Melissa Bacelar will eat your heart out..And you'll LOVE it!

Written by Necromagickal
Hot
chicks and horror go together like viscera and the tonguing hunger of
the undead. The Scream Queen is an honored mark of significance upon
the feminine role within the horror genre. It may be argued by some
that it was once a sexist degenerative classification within a male
dominated art. This of course is no longer true and as Dylan once
foresaw, "The times they are a chagin". Melissa Bacelar has all of the
natural qualities that may place her within the cacophonic halls of
fright but she is so much more than that. Melissa Bacelar is an actress
(never having actually uttered a scream within a film to date), a
business women, model, horror host, just to exhume the upper pieces
within her coffin. Melissa is the star of the new film Skinned Alive
and the forthcoming Pink Eye but if you do not already know this then
you should reevaluate your worth as someone wasting embodied space
within the current existential dimension.
Melissa has taken time out of her busy schedule of chewing on human
flesh and walking her platoon of canine companions to sit with me upon
my intestine filled couch (It was difficult keeping her from ripping it
open for a midnight snack) to talk shop with me. So without further
delay, The Chainsaw Mafia and your sexy, sexy grave opening host
Necromagickal invites you to read on and be welcomed unto the world of
Melissa Bacelar...
TCM_Necro:
1. You play Pandora, a cannibal hooker in Skinned Alive. What did you
do to get into a flesh eating Pandora consciousness while
filming?

MB:
About a month before filming I began eating raw meat with my 7 dogs for
dinner....I actually got her with out much thought. It probably sounds
weird to say that it is easy to a man eating zombie hooker...but it
was..the nice girls are tough for me. Also, Slutty Clothes. And a
fantastic Makeup Artist...I think actors don't give wardrobe and makup
enough credit. I am fully serious about this..The second I put on those
red patent leather stilettos and fake lashes I felt like eating some
men.
TCM_Necro: Often actors form an intimate symbiosis with their characters. How much Melissa may be found within Pandora?
MB:
I think Pandora is a part of my personality I don't show most people in
everyday life. I am pretty laid back in my day to day and I have found
that my own sexuality makes alot of people uncomfortable. So I tone it
down. When I got to be Pandora I just didn't hold back.
TCM_Necro: What was your best experience with Skinned Alive?
MB:
Everything. The crew was great, the costumes were fun. The whole
experience was amazing. Watching Joshua's face when he had to put out
the food for the cast and crew to eat. There was one day that we had
these horrible mashed potatoes that looked like cement...I thought
Joshua was going to die...That was funny. Especially because he writes
and creates grotesque kill scenes.
TCM_Necro: Would you stay with a lover with cannibal tendencies if they met all of the other relationship requirements?

MB: As long as they were nice to dogs I would stay with them.
TCM_Necro: I hear the cast and crew of Skinned Alive were fed well. How was it eating all the bloody flesh?
MB:
It was super messy. But fun. I enjoyed the reactions that the cast and
crew would have when they were watching me in lingerie with full glam
makeup and hair tearing bloody body parts from bodies. Also very
disgusting. But it was more funny then anything else. Because main
concern was not getting it in my hair....my mouth fine but not the hair.
TCM_Necro: If you could eat the flesh of anyone who would it be?

MB:
George Bush...In a really slow painful way. While he was alive and
watching...and I don’t think I would actually swallow I would just chew
it up and spit it out!
TCM_Necro: Do you prefer working in the horror genre compared to other aspects of film and television?
MB: Yes, for one reason. People that work in horror like horror. People that work in other parts of the business like money.
TCM_Necro: Are you a big fan of horror films and if so, what five horror films do you want to be buried or burned with?
MB: I
am a fan of horror. I thought I was a "big" fan but after meeting some
big fans I will just say I like it a lot. I think I would choose buried
cause burned sounds super painful...
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Nightmare on Elm Street
Children of the Corn
Halloween
Slither
TCM_Necro: What other horror films have you been involved with?

MB:
Tons. I have two cool horror Web Shows happening right now. One is
interactive and on a network called the stream. tv Wednesday nights. We
talk horror everything!! Halo 8 is distributing a film I starred in
September 30th, Pink Eye. I have also been in a bunch of other horror
flicks
Citizen Toxie
Strange Things Happen at Sundown
Addiction
Slaughterhouse Slumber Party
Pink Eye
I am probably forgetting something...
TCM_Necro: What can you tell us about your involvement in the forthcoming film Pink Eye?

MB: Well,
my biggest part in it was making grilled cheese for the starving cast
and crew at midnight in Woodstock, NY. Oh and I also Star in it and
produced . Pink Eye is actually one of my favorite films to date. It's different then any film I have ever worked on.
TCM_Necro: What are your thoughts on the significance and role of women in horror these days?
MB:
I think women are really starting to kick ass. It's cool to see hot
chicks kill people. Filmmakers are on board with that and although no
horror film is complete with out some naked boobies...I finally am
seeing a real role for women to take control in these films...
TCM_Necro: What kind of responses have you had from the horror fans?

MB:
It's been great. The conventions are fun and I love meeting the fans. I
truly enjoy the interaction and I think they can sense that.
TCM_Necro:
Being a famous hot chick and appearing at conventions can be both
positive and negative experiences. Have you had any strange or
frightening experiences you are willing to share?
MB: A
famous hot chick...wow. LOL. I cannot say I have had any crazy scary
experiences. I love conventions. Plus I am from Jersey. You can't scare
me.
TCM_Necro: If you could go to bed with any fictional horror icon (insert sexual implications HERE) who would it be with?
MB: The Wolf Man....duh
TCM_Necro: What can you tell us about your involvement with Troma?
MB:
Troma was a life changing experience for me. It introduced me to
horror. It introduced me to a world were people work for free and it
introduced me to Corey Feldman and Ron Jeremy.
TCM_Necro: What are you ultimate goals as an actress?
MB: To be on the cover of Vogue. To get lots of free clothes all the time..Designer ones.

TCM_Necro: What advice do you have for aspiring actors?
MB: MAKE A LOT OF MONEY DOING SOMETING ELSE. at least if you want to live in LA!
TCM_Necro: How is life in LA compared to NJ?
MB:
LA is warmer. That is my long list of positives. It's just different,
priorities, lifestyle, everything. It's completely incomparable.
TCM_Necro: What are your thoughts on the whole Scream Queen phenomenon and being possibly being painted under that brush?

MB: Sure..I
mean whatever works. People like to label..It's funny because I rarely
scream in my films. But I am a woman that does horror films...so Scream
Queen is cool with me.
TCM_Necro:
You are of course much more than a Scream Queen. You are a
multitalented person. What can you tell us about your various business
ventures?
MB: I host radio shows, 2 web shows, I produce, I own three acting studios in LA, I do dog rescue....You name it I do it.
TCM_Necro: You host a horror show called The Scream. What was the genesis of this project?

MB:
Well this project has been in the works for years. I started talking
about the Scream after my first horror convention. I wanted to make
something fun for the fans.
TCM_Necro: Who have been some of your guests on the show?
MB: Trent Haaga, Amy Lyndon, Lorielle New, Irwin Keyes, Lloyd Kaufman Some really fun people.
TCM_Necro: What do you have planned for the show for future broadcasts?
MB: Well we have 8 that need to air and then we will re group and see what the reactions have been so far.
TCM_Necro: How often and where and when is The Scream available?
MB: You can see the Scream at http://www.TheScreamShow.com
TCM_Necro: What can you tell us about the Scream Babes?
MB: Well I make out with all of them. LOL. They are required to be sexy, like horror and want to get killed on film.
TCM_Necro: Besides acting, what do you do for fun? Describe a typical day for Melissa?

MB: Typical day...everyday is sooooo different but I will use tomorrow.

6:30am feed dogs and bunnies
7am take Vinnie for his walk (everyone else prefers the yard)
7:30am get dressed and go for my hike

seriously tomorrow is light...
TCM_Necro:
I have heard you have like a million dogs. What are their names and how
do you manage taking care of them with such a busy schedule?
MB: 1. Vinnie, 110 lb Rhodesian Pit mix that I found on the freeway facing traffic
2.
Fat Joey, a little black cocker spaniel that growls if you don't
scratch his back. some lady dropped him off at my house and left.
3.
Tony a terrier mix that I found 20 minutes before leaving to shoot Pink
Eye, he bit me and drew blood but now he is the sweetest and he eats
poop??
4. Donny a mini retriever looking guy who came with Tony and is a crazy destroyer of toys
5.
Bobbi, the only girl. A Chihuahua/Daschund Mix that was goig to be
euthanized at the pound and she looked so scared I took her. She climbs
trees.
6. Charles a buff cocker spaniel that is the love of my
life and also the biggest brat in the world. He is 7 months old and in
charge of everyone.
7. Sylvester a wolf mix. He is a 4 month old
maniac. He sleeps in the water bowl. Steals everyone’s food and is
probably the cutest dog ever. Someone called me that a stray had
puppies. We found them all homes and the mama too. I kept Sylvester
because he was the smartest.
Then I have 3 crazy rabbits that live in my laundry room. Which is huge and is now called the bunny room.
When
I am filming I hire people to live here and take care of them. When I
am home I love it. I will wake up as early as I have to so I can feed
them and play with them before I leave. Taking care of them is stress
relief. It is fantastic and a lot of work. But I would not change it
for the world and i cannot wait to have room for more.

TCM_Necro: What actors or actresses inspire you most and why?
MB:
Lassie...the way I see it if myself and other actors are good enough.
Maybe Hollywood will stop torturing animals by making them work on sets.
TCM_Necro: What's next for Melissa Bacelar?

MB:
Well I am shooting this weekend...A horror film with some cool actors
that I haven't worked with in years. Also, my live webshow on
thestream.tv wednesdays at 10pm. It's fully interactive. I am making a
ton of appearances to promote Pink Eye and Skinned Alive. Check out the
site to keep up....its crazy, http://www.melissabacelar.com
TCM_Necro: Any last words for our readers?
MB: Yeah!! Go by Skinned Alive and Pink Eye!! Email me through the site an let me know what you think.
